Balvaig Music Sessions took place on the 1st Sunday of the month from 2:30pm . Music sessions were free to attend and visiting musicians were welcome. Venue White Stag - formerly Strathyre Inn.

13th October - 15th October Strathyre Octoberfest Beer Festival
Balvaig supported the festival on Saturday mid afternoon at the White Stag - formerly Strathyre Inn. Great selection of Beers and loads of Live Music over the weekend.
22nd Jan Scottish Burns Themed night at Strathyre Inn - What a good night with Balvaig playing a selection of Scottish tues preceded by Mikey Higgins and a special guest appearance from Kim Proven who provided a superb performance of Willie Wastle's Wife
We were also joined by two intrepid Cyclists Colin Stalker and Diane Lockhart on a Bicycle (Matilda) made for two. " Daisy Daisy"
Off to a flyer with Hogmanay bash at the White Stag - formerly the Strathyre Inn with a good music session leading up to the bells. When Ceana joined us with the Bagpipes and more tunes followed.
Off to a great start on Sunday 3rd January with the first Music Session of the Year - With Tommy, Greg, Stevie, Cliff and Kenny playing some new Tunes. Good attendance from kind folks that stayed a while.

Our first session at Ben Shean fetured Andy Bates, Tommy Anderson Mikey and Kenny Higgins, We had a small but steady audience but we were given a great treat when the Miles Family popped in. They had just stepped off a plane from Florida USA and stopped for a short break on their journey North. They heard music and decided to stay a while. We were glad they did as we were treated to some great Simon and Garfunkle songs with fantastic harmonies from the family. This was a real treat on a lazy Sunday afternoon that ran on to around 8pm!

No need to book tickets in advance, just turn up on the day.
Local Camping at Immervoulin Camping and Caravan Park with pitches were available.
